About Me

Hi! I'm Gabrielle! In May 2021, I received my BA in English-Writing and a minor in Theatre Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University. My dream career is one where I am able to combine my creative talents, writing abilities, and love of theatre.
It may sound cheesy, but I love exploring. That is why, even as a young professional, my experiences cover a wide range of career paths. In my writing career, I've written for newspapers, magazines, social media, and podcast. Most recently, I completed a 60-page creative nonfiction manuscript exploring identity.
In theatre, I began on the stage, but have started to work behind the scenes as well. Driven by my passion for writing and research combined with my love of theatre, I have found my home in the field of dramaturgy.
When I am not at my desk or on stage, my hobbies include video editing, experimenting with new art projects, doing crossword puzzles, and exploring the outdoors.
From writing stories in scented marker and performing made up plays for my parents as a young child, to now writing published works and performing on stage as a young adult, I've always been drawn to written and performative storytelling. Though I've certainly come a long way already, I am eager to continue growing and learning.
